Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Digital Creators Community (DCCommunity) is a small, independent publication about digital tools for creators, freelancers and small businesses. This policy explains how content is researched, written and maintained.
Who writes the content
The site was founded by Reginaldo Encarnacao, who writes and edits the content. There is no large newsroom or testing lab behind it. You can read more on the About Us page.
How we research
- We use official sources first: vendor websites, pricing pages, help centers and published terms.
- For profiles of educators and business authors, we rely on their own websites, books and public material.
- We link to official sources where it helps you verify a claim.
Research-based, not lab-tested
Our guides are based on published information. Unless an article clearly states that we used the product, we have not tested it hands-on. We do not publish star ratings or benchmark scores. Details are in our review methodology.
Independence
- No paid placement: companies cannot pay to be included, ranked higher or described more favorably.
- Disclosed affiliate links: some links earn us a commission. Pages with affiliate links carry a disclosure at the top. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Not affiliated with the brands: we are not operated or endorsed by the companies or people we write about, unless we say so clearly.
Accuracy and claims
- We attribute product claims to the company that makes them.
- We do not promise income, rankings or business results.
- If official pages leave out important information, we say that it is missing.
Updates
We update articles when we learn that prices, plans or features have changed. Reviews and comparisons show the date their details were last checked.
